This is a section for Members of the
York Golf Academy Club.
Competitions We are now fully affiliated with the English Golf Union and Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs. Before we can start with a proper competition schedule we require that enough members have obtained handicaps in order to qualify to play in the competitions. Therefore we shall be holding a number of introductionary/qualifying competitions over the coming months. Please check back here or the club notice board at the golf range for dates of these days. Please click below for results to competitions 15.11.2008 Family Foursomes (NOW TAKING ENTRIES) Handicaps You have the opportunity to obtain a handicap, simply enter three scorecards signed by a fellow member, our resident golf pro Andrew Smith or the Club Captain. 9 HOLE COURSE NOW OPEN
The 9 hole course opened on Saturday 19th May 2007. Already many of you
that joined as Members prior to opening have enjoyed a round of golf on
the course. Thank you for your feedback, which I'm glad to say has been
overwhelmingly positive.
Tee Time Booking
We will be operating a
compulsory tee booking system to avoid any queues on the first tee and
maintain a suitable interval between groups. To book a tee time please
call 01904 499275, alternatively you can just turn up and the next
available tee time will be allocated for you.
It is advisable to book tee times in advance for weekends and bank
holidays, we predict these will become very busy and you may face a long
wait for the next tee time if you just turn up.
Guest Priveleges
As a reminder you are welcome
to bring up to three guests at anyone time., they will receive a 10%
discount on green fees.
We're now non-smoking
As of June 1st York Golf Range is a non-smoking facility.
